Defense of the DEA Thesis – Nadège Ngala 2026
The GeoRes4Dev Project is proud to announce the successful DEA thesis defense of Nadège Ngala, a student at the University of Kinshasa (UNIKIN) and a recipient of a GeoRes4Dev scholarship.
Her research, entitled: « Contribution à l’étude géologique des grottes de la région de Mbanza-Ngungu (Kongo Central, R.D. Congo) : cas des grottes Ndundu et Nkiesa », is part of a scientific effort to improve our understanding of the geological and geomorphological evolution of karst systems in the Mbanza-Ngungu region, as well as the structural and lithological factors controlling their development.
The defense took place at the Faculty of Science of the University of Kinshasa.
We want to express our sincere gratitude to the supervisors and mentors for their guidance, support, and commitment throughout this work: Pascale Lahogue and Imen Arfaoui (RMCA), Valentin Kanda (UNIKIN), and Roland Kakule (CRGM).
We warmly congratulate Nadège on this remarkable achievement and on the journey she has accomplished so far. We wish her every success in her future academic and professional endeavors.
