GeoRes4Dev 2026 scholarship - Call for application- PhD position - UB

As part of the "Geological Resources for Development – GeoRes4Dev" project, funded by the Belgian Development Cooperation, the Geodynamics and Mineral Resources Unit of the Royal Museum for Central Africa is pleased to launch a call for applications for a PhD research scholarship in collaboration with the University of Burundi.
The call concerns:
- A 3-year PhD scholarship on the theme: “Structural pathways, petrogenesis and metallogeny of granitic magmas and associated pegmatites and quartz veins in the Mesoproterozoic Karagwe-Ankole Belt, northern Burundi”

Deadline for submitting the application: July 18th, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. (Bujumbura time).
Candidates selected for an interview will be notified in the week following the call's close. Interviews will be held online and will be conducted in English.
